500 pins per box - 1 1/4" super fine .50mm steel shaft. It's important to use very fine pins when working with silk and other fine fabrics. Regular size pins can leave holes and runners that are damaging. If you've tried using silk pins before, you may have discovered that all silk pins are not alike.
